What does the Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation do?

The Wisconsin Trust focuses on statewide initiatives that promote and encourage all aspects of historic preservation. Here are some of the efforts that the Wisconsin Trust has helped make happen in the past:

About the Wisconsin Trust:

The Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to the preservation of the historical, architectural and archeological heritage of Wisconsin. Membership is statewide and includes individuals, organizations, businesses and governmental bodies.

The Wisconsin Trust was established in 1986.  It was the first organization to initiate action to bring the Main Street Program to Wisconsin, and has actively supported the development of Wisconsin's Heritage Tourism program, and each of its project initiatives.

The Wisconsin Trust promotes legislative initiatives to improve the preservation climate in Wisconsin.
